Whitlands Engineering design and manufacture two ranges of products: The original Superaxe™ range – which are smaller machines suitable for domestic, farm & hire. For bulk or commercial operations, the Rex range features log saws, trommels and firewood processors. Over the past 30 years the company has progressively grown in size from two employees to a workforce of 30 full-time staff. Carta Equipment is a New York based family owned company, who in 2023 became the sole authorised distributor for Rex and Superaxe™ firewood machinery in the United States. With an extensive background in firewood production, Matthew Cartalemi and his team have expanded their business into machinery sales, catering to both the commercial and domestic firewood industries.
